Luvin Lenny….

went to a concert lastnight….LENNY KRAVITZ! not the typical concert i would go to. im more into the headbangin metal lol…BUT i tell ya, lenny’s concert was one of the best ive been too. if you dig his music & have the chance to check him out in concert i highly recommend it. he’s funky, sexy, rockin and just down right cool.

a lil hatebreed is the cure….

feeling withdrawn today…unsociable, detached, quiet. we all can have those days where we feel lonely and isolated from the world. hard to get going. hard to focus. am i sad, depressed…”what the fuck is wrong with me?” i guess this diet & contest prep is really starting to play on my emotions today. its okay…im past it, im tough…im human!

so in return…i downloaded the new hatebreed album and trained shoulders extra hard in the gym tonight. nothing that a lil hatebreed wont fix ; ) ROCK ON!!!

cardio with NIN….

well for the next 7 weeks my ass is gonna be glued to the cardio machine. treadmill, bike, elliptical, stepmill, anything that moves my ass and gets my heart rate up lol. its time to really dig deep & get focused mentally. i’ll be honest im mentally burning out but i know now is not the time to let down. i need to keep pushing & driving myself each and everyday. each day is what i need to concentrate on. i cannot concentrate on 5, 10 or even 20 days from now. makes me feel too overwhelmed. so i need to wake up and think about what needs to be done for that day.

so as i know that cardio has been & is going to be a big part of my day i have been glued to this damn computer finding new music to download. i swear besides the gym i have been on here all day. so i came across some fuckin cool NIN remixes. here is the site www.remix.nin.com. itunes has NIN remixes as podcasts. they are free so i downloaded all of them. i had to uncheck so many songs on my ipod because there wasnt enough space lol. i never thought i would have as many songs as i do. honestly…you cant have too many. its true! ; ) anyways, im excited i have some new tunes! YAY!!!!!

9 weeks & a quiet saturday!

9 week mark is finally here for the easterns november 14th. something mental about hitting the single digit mark. feels like its closer & more of a reality. when you are dieting & doing all this cardio weeks 14 or even 12 seem like it will never get here. but now with 9 away i feel like a fire has been lit under my ass lol.!

nothing much planned for the weekend. actually i really dont feel like doing much anyways. yeah i know…pretty boring huh? just gonna hangout, go to the gym and maybe watch a movie or something. i did just get tix to lenny kravitz that will be here in nyc performing at a smaller venue next month. i love going to concerts but hate going to huge places like madison square garden so when i see a good concert at a smaller venue im down. normally im big on heavy metal concerts but hey lenny is damn cool so i thought it would be a different….expand my horizons right? hey thats what life is about…experiencing all that you can!

well i sit here drinking my carmel chocolate flavored coffee, surfing the net & waiting for my email from dave on how much cardio will be increased and how much food will be decreased! haha! yippeeee!!!

allright guys…i know there are alot of headbangers out there that dig some good metal. well lately i have been diggin five finger death punch. i listen to them over & over on my ipod. these guys rock. i saw them in concert last year at mayhem festival with slipknot & disturbed. im always checking online for some kickass metal concerts so if any of you know of any that are coming to nyc please let me know. i just heard NIN were coming here & playing at a few small venues. i thought how cool would that be. to see them in a place small enough to actually see them haha. im not into going to concerts at madison square garden ya know. but yeah the tix were all SOLD OUT! man i was bummed. wish i wouold of known about it earlier. alright metal heads, time for bed! good night and ROCK ON! \m/(^o^)\m/
